Processing of personal data The HDE-Var is a cultural establishment managed by the Département du Var. The Département is committed to ensuring that the collection and processing of personal data, from the present website, is done in accordance with the Data Protection Act n°2018-493 of the 20th June 2018, and with (EU) regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of the 27th April 2016, directly applicable in France since the 25th May 2018. Therefore, unless stated otherwise on the data input form, via the contact form https://www.var.fr/contactez-nous, the email addresses collected shall not be transferred to a third party by the Département du Var. The intended destination for any information collected is stipulated on each online form. Each form or teleservice limits the collection of personal data to the strict minimum (data minimization) and you will be informed of the following:

● the data collection objectives (purposes),

● whether this information is mandatory or optional, to be able to process your request,

● who may view this data (usually only the Département, unless it is stipulated in the form that transfer to a third party is necessary for managing your request),

● your data protection rights and how to exercise them with the Département du Var.

The personal data collected through the services offered on the Département’s websites will be processed according to strict protocol and allow the Département du Var to manage the requests received on their digital applications. The personal information collected for the purposes of services offered by the local council is stored in accordance with the regulations stipulated by the municipal archives office, by the Data Protection Act of 1978 and for a duration that is justified by the purpose for its use. The departments of the Département du Var have the IT means to manage your information, your requests as well as the services offered to you.

The information saved is reserved for the use of the departments in question and can only be communicated to Département du Var employees and authorised recipients. In accordance with articles 39 and the following of the amended Data Protection Act n°78-17 of the 6th January 1978, you can access this information, and if necessary, rectify or remove it. You also have the right to decide what happens to your personal data in the event of your death. In accordance with article 38 of the amended Data Protection Act n°78-17 of the 6th January 1978, you can also oppose the processing of your personal data, for legitimate reasons, unless the processing is required under legal obligations, or in the event that this right of opposition has been overruled by express provision authorising said processing. You can request to be provided with a copy of your personal data, and you will be liable for the cost of reproducing this data.

However, the Département can refuse any requests that appear to be abusive, namely in the event of a high number of requests, or repetitive or systematic requests.
